The Pressure Washer & Maintenance Technician at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the facility and its infrastructure.
This position involves utilizing high-pressure water spray for pressure washing surfaces, performing general maintenance tasks, and assisting with trash collection during peak seasons.
The Pressure Washer & Maintenance Technician contributes to maintaining a safe and well-maintained environment for the JRTC.
Responsibilities:
Perform pressure washing on various surfaces to ensure cleanliness and durability.
Assist with trash collection during peak seasons to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
Blow off debris from sidewalks using air blowers to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure compliance with standards.
Assist in performing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
Aid with addressing structural damage by repairing windows, doors, and walls.
Aid in repairing plumbing issues to prevent water damage and restore full water fixture functionality.
Assist in fixing damaged electrical wiring in the event of a shortage or severed wire.
Adhere to all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Operate a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools required for maintenance tasks.
Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and hazard assessments.
Apply OSHA regulations and local safety requirements to assigned work.
Adhere to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Manager, Engineering.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in building maintenance, pressure washing or a related field.
Certifications related to the job duties are preferred but not required.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
