The Moorings Yacht and Country Club is looking for a Receptionist.
This is a full-time role for the 2023/2024 season.
The basic responsibilities of a Receptionist at The Moorings Club are:
To provide professional customer service to The Club's members.
Responsible for the scheduling and billing of member accounts, and answering phones.
Primary responsibilities include:
1.
Greet members and assist with inquiries.
2.
Respond member inquiries when appropriate; determine the most appropriate person to direct their inquiries to appropriate personnel if questions are exercise-related.
3.
Schedule member appointments with Fitness personnel.
4.
Answer the telephone; transfer calls to proper extensions; take messages as appropriate 5.
Complete administrative functions on the computer as appropriate; send and receive faxes, operate the stereo and television as assigned.
6.
Copy, file and organize facility paperwork; maintain cleanliness of office supplies and storage areas.
7.
Order department supplies and maintain inventory levels.
8.
Remain knowledgeable about programs offered to members.
13.
Maintain privacy of members' paperwork and health conditions.
Sharing information with another member, employee, or other person is strictly prohibited.
14.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to interact with a large and varied group of people including members and potential members in a professional and courteous manner.
Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communication; able to speak, understand, read and write.
Knowledge and Certificates:
Ability to operate telephone systems and ability to use a computer required.
Experience:
Customer service experience required.
Administrative skills required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
