Golf Services Supervisor Basic Function:
Assist members in preparation for golf games including staging the start area with clubs, club and cart preparation; maintain the golf range conditions and any other services related to maintaining the golf cart and bag drop area.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Coordinate golf cart utilization based on anticipated need.
Prepare cart for use by members including loading and unloading golf bags.
Assist members with their golf bags in the parking lot and bag drop area.
Clean and sanitize golf carts, containers and pull carts after use, returning them to designated areas and ensuring they are prepared for the next use.
Prepare and maintain ice station(s).
Coordinate tee times and maintain pace of play.
Prepare Golf Professional teaching area and putting green.
Maintain a clean working area in bag room at all times.
Train other employees on golf cart safety if requested.
Maintain sufficient inventory of supply stock.
Requires retrieving golf balls from range either by hand or vehicle.
Clean and sanitize golf balls after use.
Stock golf cart amenities.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Strong communication and cooperative skills.
Positive interpersonal, customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge and Certificates:
Golf industry knowledge preferred but no required.
Experience:
Prior experience preferred but not required.
Physical Demands of Work Environment:

Requires indoor and outdoor work.
Outdoor work requires ability to work in a variety of temperatures throughout the winter and summer months common to Florida.
Flexible days/hours; weekends/holidays/evenings may be required.
While performing duties of the job, employee is required to stand, stoop, bend, and reach overhead.
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Employee is required to regularly kneel or crouch, bend, reach overhead and walk.
Must be able to pull and lift up to twenty five (25) pounds regularly and occasionally up to forty (40) pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Uniform required (Club provided).
Golf cart.
Point of sale computer.
Club software including Club Essentials.
Pressure cleaner Ice machine.
Classification:
Hourly, non-exempt.
Supervision:
No supervisory duties are included in this position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
