Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.
g.
preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.
) to provide operable and efficient facilities for Department personnel.
Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.
g.
replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.
) to provide operable and efficient plumbing capabilities to Department personnel.
Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.
g.
wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.
) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
Installs system component parts and office equipment and facility components (e.
g.
lighting, heating and ventilating systems, alarms, plumbing, security, electrical panels, etc.
) for the purpose of providing a safe and workable environment.
Performs a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.
g.
carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.
) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
Repairs furniture and building system components for the purpose of ensuring a safe working condition.
Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Full-time The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:
frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of 25lbs, occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 75lbs; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
Generally, the job requires a minimum 80% walking and/or standing throughout the day.
The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
