Florida Baptist Retirement Center, a Christian retirement community is looking for a CHAUFFER.
The position is Part Time, 8:30am-3:00pm, Monday - Thursday.
The position includes:

transporting independent and assisted living residents to and from medical appointments and maintaining their appointment schedules;
taking residents shopping, banking, and to other planned activities;
maintaining the facility vehicles


The applicant should:

have a safe driving record and be approved by our insurance carrier;
be personable, patient, and good with seniors
have strong organizational and communication skills
must pass an AHCA Criminal History Background Screening and drug screening

Job Purpose:
Transports residents by driving and maintaining facility cars and bus.
Duties:
Prepares vehicle by conducting operator maintenance; cleaning interior and exterior; arranging for maintenance; reporting operating problems.
Plans route and requirements by studying schedule or special request; estimating travel times.
Transports residents by helping passengers in and out of vehicle; loading and unloading belongins (i.e. walkers); driving the vehicle.
Fulfills special requests by picking up and delivering items (banking, doctor's orders).
Maintains passenger confidence by keeping information confidential.
Documents actions by completing travel logs and maintenance records.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes transportation and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
