Its a great place to keep a bike, and there are activities ranging from lectures to yoga to game nights and happy hours at the Beach Club. I bought here to play tennis but now also spend a lot of time in the fitness center, which is clean, fresh, uncrowded and well equipped.This is not an age-restricted community, but many owners, probably a majority, are retired. I dont think it would be a great place to raise small children unless they are tennis nuts. Theres no playground and not many children or teenagers around.Sea Oaks has plenty of parking at no extra charge, and many owners who do not live here year round leave a vehicle on the property. Pickups and motorcycles are not allowed. Airports at Orlando and West Palm Beach are each about 90 minutes away, easy highway driving, and the Kennedy Space Center is a couple of hours north and a great place to take guests, especially if they remember the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs.The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes away. The community is about eight miles north of Vero Beach proper, which has fine and casual dining, an arts district and shopping from high end to big box.Purchase requires a 20,000 contribution to the communitys capital improvements fund. There is no HOA approval process for buyers.I have put the house on the market because we a finishing up a new home in Montana after living for many years in the Philadelphia region.
